There are plenty other members who understand what an octane count means when it comes to a turbo car. Running 94 or 93 when 91 is all that is needed will not make more horsepower or torque, and doesnt make the car any safer to drive.

The reason higher boost and timing tunes run 93 or 94 or e85 is because they can run larger amounts without having issues with knock. This of course is completely dependant on each particular suitation and car.
I don't know what manual you have, but mine states 93 octane. I will be glad to scan it for you when I get home.

My manual states you can substitute 91 octane by pissing in your gas tank.

due to the higher demand for fuel quantity when running an e85 setup, most people just automatically figure in an upgraded pump when putting together their fuel system.

Anybody up in Rhode island? I'm moving there as I write this, I know there are a lot of sunocos up there which usually have very high octane. If your in MA or CT holler. Oh and my manual says 93 too, what's the point in putting in 91 if you have 93 available, to save a dollar?
