Wait what!?

So I'm looking to buy a ralliart. Like a 2009 or 2010. I have like 18k cash. But what is making me lean away from it is I've seen at like 20k miles the trans slips? Or is it the clutches? Anyways will all of them do this? Should I be worried if I buy one with 20k miles? (I will be purchasing used) the only mods I will be doing is exhaust and like reflash. I came from a modded Evo and I didn't like all the problems.. And don't say it's a down grade.. The ralliart is like a Evo 9.5 lol! It will be a upgrade for me (my first car was a Gts)

Thanks for your time!

You should be fine I have 57k on my Ralliart and it's pushing over 320 to the crank and no problems at all. Just test drive it and make sure it's all sound when you get the car to be safe you could change all the fluids and the sst oil too. Hope all works out.

This topic has been beaten into oblivion.

NO! Hardly any TC-SST's have problems. The failure rate is the same as any other car. There are ways of upgrading your transmission, as well, so that you won't have problems at higher horsepower. This hurdle is still being overcome, but the transmission is not a problem.

The Ralliart could be compared to an Evo. However, I have yet to see one that appears to be comparably equipped.

It is just unusual that someone would bump a thread outside of the "For Sale" section.

Tuners now are getting the picture as far as tuning for the TC-SST.

He doesnt seem to be since he has twice the number of posts as you, but you seem to be new to the RA sections since people generally dont bump their threads especially within an hour of their last post.

Yeah ik what you mean. And I don't think I'll have to worry about that because all I'm basically gonna do is catback and idk if I'll even do a flash. I want to keep it as reliable as I can..
