AFAIK these are new and I like them better than the other style I've seen. Either way nice to have more options. I think they need more smoke to meet my needs.

I agree they could be darker but I do like these. I'm just concerned that there won't be enough draw on the electrical system and then trigger a CEL. If they don't the CEL then with a little work this could be my next gift to me. Lol. I would love to see pics of thses on someones car. Pref. On a red one. Hehe

 

Learned on my last Lancer that you need a load resistor with many of the aftermarket LED bulbs or tails. Cruise control became inactive but never got a CEL.

Like you mentioned, LEDs tend to draw less current which tells the car your bulb is dead. Pop on a $10 resistor from your local auto shop and the problem is solved, just got to be careful where you locate it because it'll get hot quickly.

 

Eh, I think the Audi style that was made looks better. These have a cheap look IMO. Speaking of LED tails, when in the hell are us Sportback owners gonna get a pair? We have the worst looking tail lights ever! **** the new Kia Forte hatch has way better tails IMO!

i have pics if you want to search posts ive made in RA GG show and shine threads... im at work so i cant post them up. but i love them they look great. no cel, and i havent used cruise control just the gas so i dont know about the cruise control function?

Yeah and now that this is the last year for the Sportback, support for aftermarket products to our specific parts look dim.

Even the sportback prototype had better tail lights

 

those tails on the SB look sick! i love the way that looks and i dont even like Hatchs
