Recaro's

OK, I'm still waiting for my "new" 09 Ralliart to arrive. It has both packages (Recaro's and Navigation) and has been identified as having every available option. My question is are the Recaro's heated, as I seem to come across some Recaro packages that have heated seats whereas others do not. In addition, does the Nav package allow for the playing of DVD's or is it strictly music based? Thanks in advance.

I have the heated Recaro's in Edm , they are great but they are lacking heat in the edges which can sometimes give you a funny feeling. What we really need though is a heated steering wheel heh.

Hey from Calgary and thanks man. What are you running for winter tires and what size 17 or 18? I was just out looking at some Nokian Hakka R's and they are running like $270 per tire. I'm going to end up spending like 2 grand on wheels and tires..sigh.

I ran the stock all seasons last winter. But on my Subaru Impreza RS I ran Hankook Winter I*Pike and they were killer and not 270 a tire heh. The southside mitsu dealer here in Edm is offering winter steelie rims and hankook tires for 1300 installed. So you shouldn't have to go for expensive tires. There are better options. Worse comes to worse you order off tirerack.com and might get a better deal then in town.

1300$ is too much. I never drove the iPike, but Canadian Tire sells the Nordic tires for much less than that (probably around 500-550$), and the steel wheel are about 160$ for a set...

I second the Nordics. On my previous car, I had a set of Blizzaks, then when they wore out, I went with the Nordics. Grip seemed identical, cost was about 1/2.

For the Canadian's I'm using some Maxtrex 225/40/18's they are a winter tire. Bought them out of a dealer in Quebec. They are under $500 CAd w/ shipping on ebay. Using my oem 18" wheels and these tires for a winter setup.

Can DVD's be viewed when the car is in motion? Someone told me no, but that there is a way around it? I also watched guys on Youtube in motion while watching so I know it is possible.

My car is barely used and the driver's side Recaro has some creases on the leather "lip" (closest to the door on left thigh). I'm careful when I get in and out. My question is, are you guys treating your seats and does this help. Thanks.
