owners manual

OK....so I picked up my ralliart today and absolutely love it. It was sent on a train from Ontario to Alberta. The guy at the dealership told me that the owners manual was included, however, only the French version was included in the glove box. My question is can you download it anywhere online, or am I going to have to get them to ship me an English version?

You should be able to get a digital copy off of the mitsubishi website under the owners section. If not, ask the dealer.

Dealer will provide you one. They'll have to order it, of course. Unless they steal one from another car in their inventory :P

It would be great if we could get a copy of the Service Manual. If it is already posted, I do apologize in advance. I have not had to use it yet, fingers crossed.

Thanks man. Or I could send you the French version and pay for the English version coming back the other way. I called the Mitsu dealership in Vaughn, Ontario today and the manager told me that 1) The dealership has officially been forced to close and that 2) He personally put both manuals in my car before it was shipped to Alberta. Regardless, he has been a good guy and said he would do his best to get another one for me (that said, I'm sure he has more on his mind, given what has happened to Mitsu there). He also told me that Mitsu is falling apart in Ontario.

I'm not home right now, but I'll be there later this week. I'll confirm the state of the manual and if it's not mint, I'll send you pictures of it to see if you want it.

As for Mitsubishi falling apart I wouldn't be surprised... It's been popular around Ottawa... But everywhere else I go I can barely find a few Lancers (From Chicoutimi, QC to Toronto, ON). The Lancer is very good but it takes time for people to switch from Mazda, Toyota and Honda to Mitsubishi...

And Hyundai is catching up most of the "switchers"...

Haha..I probably wouldnt care about the condition unless it was quite bad. Thanks for reaching out and ya...let me know. This manager sounded very upset and, in a diplomatic way, slammed Mitsu. Yup, Hyundai has better advertising and is breaking through on a much wider scale. I don't care (at the moment), I just love my new car. Oh...and ya my French verion is mint.

Mine should be mint too. But I will check first just to make sure.. I know that the 2 Haynes for the Firebirds are not perfect (hard to keep book clean when you play a lot under the car and in the engine :P) But I barely open the user manuals... Actually it's just to check the type of oil they need :P

About Hyundai: Yes and their car no longer feels cheap. We got a Accent 2010 for my girlfriend. And for the price she pays, it is surprising what you can get! The only complain she has is that the clutch pedal is too smooth... You barely get any feedback... As soon as it needs to be replaced, we'll look for a more aggressive pressure plates and probably a stronger clutch.

Ya man, thanks again for taking the time. I really appreciate this place thus far and people have been super helpful. In the meantime, I will keep my French version in a nice, safe place.
