So I was under my car today because something is rattleing when I stop at a light and I noticed this while I was under it. Anyone have any ideas? maybe its for the backup camera?

I'm sure it has to be OEM for something but just seeing if anyone knew what it was for and if its important for anything.

Honestly reminded me of the sensor clip for reverse parking sensors I could be wrong but if that's the back of the car it looked similar to that when i had my bumper repaired.

Yeah that's the back. That makes sence but why didn't they put the sensor in?

I never actually had reverse parking sensors installed in my car it was on the showroom floor and i bought it as is with plans for everything aftermarket as you do . Do you have reverse parking sensors?

I only noticed it because my licence plate didn't light up and after further inspection only the licence plate connector fitted into the usual place and this plug was left hanging after I had the panel repaired.

EDM/JDM cars get a rear foglight. Maybe that?

^ +1 I think it's probably for that rear for or the parking sensors. I belive they offered the parking sensors as an option from factory.
