Installing new head unit with infinity system?!
Hi there! I'm new to forums to hi to everyone! Love our cars btw! So I'm looking into getting. New aftermarket head unit out in, but when I went to go price one out the guy asked me if I had a stock amp and sub, which I do, and he said there is a 50/50 chance I might lose it. He was completely unsure as they had not come across installing a pioneer dahx8500 in a 06 ralliart with this system. Has anyone tried this yet? I don't want to go ahead if I will lose this until I have more funds Incase I need to replace the sub and amp at that time! I'm on a time crunch so if anyone can help!
I am getting my compustar alarm system troubleshooted on Wednesday at visions which is why it's a time crunch. 2 birds-1 stone kind of thing. Visions should know whether they will lose it or not... Shouldn't they??

Do you have an '09+ with the Fosgate system or an '06 as in your profile?
For the '09+ See this post:

For the '06 in your profile, see this thread:

Either way, if you buy the correct harnesses you can retain the factory amp/sub
