Thinking RA again
I heard the new mustangs handle very good even with the live rear axle. There aren't really a lot of curves around here anyway unless you go off the beaten path to look for them. I also wouldn't call 32k MSRP for a base stang cheap either. Its just that they are really discounting them because the new model is coming out this summer. That looks like its going to be an even better car with ind. rear, a little lighter, more aerodynamic and sleeker with improved tranny's, but it sounds like the motors are going to be the same except for the addition of a turbo 4 with 310hp. That should be interesting, but sounds like its going to be in the upper 20's range.
Anyway, I'm still deciding what I want to do if anything. I was going to go look at a couple cars, but thought maybe I should get mine fixed first. I've been putting it off a bit because of work and kind of waiting for this freezing weather and snow to end this year too. btw,no way I could afford two cars, one is bad enough. Unless I could find a decent 4x4 beater or something for the winter, but its hard to find a good one under 1k anymore.

I got my winter wheels for 650 shipped from Tirerack. It's my 4th season with them. Worth every penny. I mount them December through March each year.
With the true car thing, you want to get the email that has the OTD price. Just tell the dealer thats the OTD price. Can you beat it? Really its not the OTD price as it doesn't add the tax, but they won't know.
I did the same thing with an Acura RDX 14' it got my to 30,500 car price for the base.
IMO, I would just buy a set of winter tires use that credit card and find a 0% promotion. If you can't afford those, then you're just going to screw yourself getting into a new car. Then, you won't be able to be on this level of car for awhile.

How is losing $2000 at trade-in better than spending $800 on a set of winter tires? Sure, the AWC on the Ralliart is awesome, but you need to realize that like any other car it will be absolutely terrible on ice and in deep snow until you put some winter tires on it too... You don't even need "good" ones. ANY winter tires are a lot better in the snow than ALL all-season tires.
Interesting, found a blue one not too far away for just over 25k. I wonder if they will keep dropping and how many are left? No idea if there will be a 2015 model or not. I still haven't got my car turned in to fix yet though so will have to wait awhile longer before looking.
