Code p0137. Is there a simple work around?

I have a 2009 Ralliart with a TP and want to disable the rear O2 if possible. Is there a very simple way of doing this while still being able to pass an inspection? I have tried to understand Tephra's code writing but I'm just not getting it. I do know my ROM and I do have a tactix cable. Thanks for any help!!!

If you don't want to disable the rear o2 in the ecu, you could always try using an o2 spacer to see if it would push the sensor out far enough to stay away from the exhaust stream. Plenty of people have fixed this issue using that method in the past. In most smog inspections, the tech won't even notice it. In California, a test pipe would cause you to fail smog anyway.

Thank you for your response Pal but I'm really looking for a way to eliminate the DTC if that is the correct terminology. I can get the car inspected with the TP but not get it to pass if the DMV computers say it's no good.👎 Any other options available to me besides anti fowler tricks? I'm really looking for a software fix. Thanks again✌️

If you disable the rear o2 the car will view the readiness of that monitor as N/a or not ready and you would probably fail anyway. Have you already determined the cause of the code to be the test pipe? P2096 or p0420 are the typical test pipe codes.

A buddy removed the test pipe and O2 and the O2 was seized on. He really had to work to get it off. There is a chance the O2 is bad. I have read there are O2 simulator codes and wondered if there was an option for my car/ROM.
