Done.

$120 to have the stud drilled out and two bolts with nuts installed. Best money I ever spent...

But! Manifold would still not come off the head.
Prayed. Slept on it.

Purpose is to push down the turbo/downpipe assy. to create a gap to remove this (metal 'donut' between the exhaust manifold and the turbo).

Once removed - manifold easily comes out.
*Warning - this could slip and crush your fingers! Do Not use this method to force the turbo down and hurt yourself! You have been warned!*

I will do a complete write-up since I am pretty sure I am the only one ever to have removed a RA exhaust manifold with the turbo still installed...

There is a bolt on the underside of the car towards the front of the turbo, just like on the Evo X, slightly different location. Once removed it allows the turbo to fall just enough to remove the manifold, I did this last year with the turbo still installed. It was PITA!!!!
I wish I would have snapped a pic of the bolt location but I did not
Also not much help to you now, sorry I did not see this sooner

I followed this turbo install guide to find the bolt: http://www.atpturbo.com/root/help/pd...structions.pdf

Find the small steel bracket that connects the
turbine housing to the engine block. Remove
the bolt into the turbine housing. This bolt is
accessible from underneath the vehicle, and
is visible between the passenger-side
driveshaft and the oil pan. Leave the bracket
attached to the engine block. This part will be
reused (1 bolt, 14mm socket, extension, ujoint).
