The cars are just naturally loud so if you hear ticking thats usually the injectors or the valve train. The SST itself makes weird noises too so its hard to diagnose anything lol my suggestion to you though is get off the AP and use a different tune. The AP OTS tunes in our other group we've seen put holes in blocks or valves. The free GST maps are a safer option in my opinion.

UPDATE 7/15/18.
i got to take a look again today under the hood and found something possibly alarming. I can't believe all the mechanics missed this. My personal performance shopped missed it and also the dealership after 5 days of having my car. Reasons why it is always best to put it your own work at least because it is impossible for someone to catch everything not even to mention care enough to try. As you can see... this is pretty straightforward. Unless everyone tells me it is not necessary.. it looks pretty damn necessary.
Missing a bolt... Please advice as to what it's attached to, consequences, and part number?
ed this. Please see pics for reference. Can you tell me what it is and how to get the replacement.

You are using premium fuel right?
Check that all vacuum hoses are in good condition.
The reverse engagement delay is something that sometimes happens on the SST. This is my second ralliart and both did the same.
As another user said. GST Basemaps are way better than Cobb.

Safer by I haven't seen or anyone report a car blowing a trans/engine using the GST map compared to people nuking their cars on the AP. AP doesn't have access to important SST tables when doing proper tuning. GST maps are uploaded by opensource and cannot be uploaded on the AP.
Assuming my picture is similar to yours, the bolt is only holding the mount for the wiring harness? I'm not sure if thats what I'm looking at.

Thanks for the reply, but you are sure it comes unplugged by default? Why even have the hole? It looks important too. What is it attached to?I use 93 or 94 only. I had Mitsu dealership did a vacuum leak test and checked all the sensors except for throttle position sensors and fuel pressure sensors. Don't know if that could affect it but I am thinking it may. The car runs beautifully once on 3rd gear and above. Still sees the RPM go up not consistently but much less and I can't really feel it. I consistently get to around peak boost based on Cobb Stage 1 map.
That is what I use on mine. GST basemap for boostpill. The car runs great since day one.
I managed to clock high 4s 0-60 with that. Highly doubt that AP base tunes are able to do that. Never seen it before on a car with just a boost pill.
