Okay, I was drilling into my front bumper for the license plate mount, and what seems to be like papery curds started to come out, is this okay...? I'm super worried right now

Okay, I overreacted a little bit, I believe it is just styrofoam

There's styrofoam behind the bumper.

When in doubt, taste it. It should taste bland with a spongy yet firm texture.

Yes your bumper has an absorber behind it and yes it is foam no worries.

If, on the other hand, it has delicate woody flavours and a fruity nose... you've hit glycol coolant. :p

My eyes started to water I was laughing so hard.

I wouldn't recommend trying to identify unknown substances by putting them in your mouth.

Can just imagine what people would think seeing you tasting parts of your car:lol:

Hey, we taste things all the time in the shop to see what's leaking...

Very difficult to do that, since they are mounted up on the core-support.
