Hello... and a bit of help
Hello Everyone,
Long time Evo X fan, and recent Ralliart Sportback owner (needed the hatch). I'm also the co-host of a TV and Web show called "Everyday Driver" where we've covered the Evo MANY times (so many, my co-host laughs at me). So now I have a Ralliart as of two weeks ago. It's my winter car in Utah and I'm very pleased. Except... it has an aftermarket exhaust and it's too loud for my usage. Looks to be cat-back, but I don't know the exhaust options well enough to know which one it is. I bought it from across the country... it was a dealer trade in so I don't have access to the prior owner to ask some questions. Can someone identify this exhaust? Can anyone advise me on my options for a quieter muffler? I'd be up for trading/buying the stock parts, or putting a new muffler on what's already mounted. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...0e2d955d5e.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.evo...2763bc72a7.jpg All help appreciated! Hey, welcome aboard Todd
Im an EvO owner so cant help too much, but maybe reverting back to stock is your best bet. You can search our Market place & see if you can locate the stock pieces (might be tough to find) Maybe youll get used to it? How about keeping your foot out of it? =) Joe  |
I'm not sure but it looks like the Ultimate Racing cat back and maybe just add a mini muffler 😎

This looks identical to my Ultimate Racing exhaust. I recommend keeping the exhaust and adding an Ultimate Racing mid-pipe with the resonator and mini-muffler. If I remember correctly, it said Ultimate Racing in at least two places on the mufflers if you really want to check.

If you can source a stock catback, go with that. It will be quiet and can still make a bunch of power.
Back when I had my Sportback, I was making over 400hp with the OEM Catback: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/09...ml#post9052193 |
