That will be pushing it. The 215s will probably fit fine and flush... the 235s...
Also, the outside diameter of those tires vary greatly from stock, so your speedometer will be thrown off quite a bit.

Wow what a read 18 pages of posts to read through on this thread. My question is this what is the most rubber we can put unto the road and what rim size and offset would be required without rolling the rim etc..
I had my car on a road race track with some Evo X's and I was actually able to run with them but our skinny *** tires would not hold the corners like an evo because they have a wider track width 245 series tires 8.5 rims and a better suspension set up. I would like to go to 255 or 265 series tires with a very low pro sidewall because I like putting my car sideway at 160 kmh LOL!
At the very least I would like to go to a 18.5 inch aftermarket rim and at least 245 series rubber. I have future plans to go to bigger brake set up and want to avoid to Ugly rims that Evo's come with . I would like to use these rims but have not decided on the exact size.
XXR 507 bl
Thanking you all in advance for any help I get.

Your post doesn't make sense!
Why would you ask what's the biggest tires to put for road race w/o rolling and now you want to
18.5 inch rims ...as if they make em anyways! Sigh...

With the XXR 507 in black.. You'll be looking to get 18x8.5 with +35 offset if you are going to run 245 tires and you will most likely need to roll your fenders..
Other sizes in the XXR 507 are 18x7.5 +42 (won't be wide enough to safely run 245's and might not clear the BBK later) and 18x9.5 +35 (will need fender work - rolling and maybe flaring)

235s can fit with the proper offset... probably around +42 or higher (I have 235s with +38, and it barely rubs the sidewalls... maybe a couple of mm).
245s can fit with rolling.
Anything more than 245s, you'll need to start pulling.
