I put a 17x9 +35 on the hub and the amount of poke frightened me.
Is that just b/c I don't have a tire mounted that it looks like it pokes out SO much ?

You'll be alright. Once the car comes down, the top of the wheel tucks in a bit, as well. You'll end up with about 10mm poke, same wheel fit as 17x8.5 +30 which I am running with my RPF1's. Check out the pic/spec thread and you'll see how it looks with 245/45, your 255/40 will be slightly different, but still very similar.

XXR522 18x8.5 +30 or 18x8.5 +48

What will fit? Thanks. (not sure if these specs have been posted but the GT has the same stock specs as the previous years ES and DE).
You can use any of the specs from this thread that work.

With those wheels, you'll need the +30 offset to clear the inner suspension, but that will also mean you'll probably need to roll your rear wheel well lips to prevent rubbing.

Otherwise the +48 will require spacers to fit, but you can get smaller spacers and with the 225 tire you may not have to do any fender rolling.

I picked up xxr 522 9.5's offset 25 with 245/40-18. I am at stock height and don't mind getting my fenders rolled but what else do I need to do as to camber and spacers?

Hi All

I have some question about the wheel for Lancer Sportback.
1. I want to buy the Weds Sport TC105N, 18x8J, INSET 42, 5Hx114.3, FACE TYPE R
some topic seems have some rubbing issue when INSET around 40.
Have any one install the same specification wheel?
Or, can any one told me this wheel is well for Lancer Sportback?
2. I have a EVO Brembo on hand, but, can the TC105N clear Brembo?

Thanks a lot.

i'm looking to to get 18x8.5 wheels with 235/40R18 wheels. I'm quite sure that i need to roll the fenders but just wanted to be sure that this fitment does fit my ralliart. My ralliart is also lowered by 1.5''.

yes these will fit, very similar to evo x wheels 18x8.5 +38 w 235/40 tires. i ran same setup but lowered on teins. yes you would need just a roll on the rears to be safe. whats the offset?

What size tire are you planning to run? Original dimensions? You should be able to fit that wheel onto the car but will be very close inside suspension clearance. Not sure if they will clear Brembo brakes. Does the wheel dimensions list an inside diameter? Brembo brakes are large (as you know) and some wheels have much smaller inside diameter and spoke face clearance due to their design type.

Like Nas said in the previous comment, verify the offset before purchasing if you want to make absolutely sure no other work is needed (spacers, more fender work, etc)

Looks like 18x9 +35 is the safe way to go,

Anyone have these : http://www.customwheelsexpress.com/c...ms-p-1864.html

That's my future as soon as I can afford them.

anyone have any specs on 19" rims?

i'm looking to go with 19s and debating on getting slightly bigger rubber to get rid of some wheel gap without sacrificing ride height

It will fit but to avoid the tire rubbing the body you will require some fender rolling/pulling in the rear. How much will depend on your tire specifications.

Cosmis MR7

I'm looking at cosmis MR7's. I plan to lower on eibach springs (1.6" drop). I don't know much about fitment, but will they fit or what work will need to be done to make them work? MR7 specs are 18x9 +25

I have gotten the wheels with 225/40 wheels, will that still fit without tyre rubbing?
