Had anyone pulled of an offset lower then 30?
Currently running 18x8 +35 with 225\40 rubber
I'm looking at a set of 18x8 +20 right now curious what tire size would fit and if it would fit
The tire calculator said it's going to be pushed out a half inch further out of the arches... Im already rolled in the rear and got adjustable camber arms and fortune auto coils so adjustment won't be much of an issue I figure, just figuring out a tire size

does anyone know the offset for 15" wheels? (for gravel tires, that's why)
came from a subie family so it's the whole new game for me =o)
also will be looking for gravel specs coilovers and i hear EVO struts are direct bolt-on replacement.
but lower control arms have to be replaced as well?
is there any way to do it with stock control arms?
Thanks

I would like to thank chi town and others for this wealth of information.
Have a stock SB and bought a set of 17 x 6.5 35 offset for next to nothing. Knowing that I have at least 15mm to play with on the outside before the need for a rear roll, I can go and buy some 215 50 without worry. Maybe I can even get away with 225 50.
Car is already scraping some driveways at stock height so won't be lowering. Decided to try 17 as some roads are not well maintained.

There is nothing wrong with a quality set of wheel spacers when used correctly. If you truly like the look of the stock wheels and want to stick with them, spacers ranging from 15-25mm will achieve the flush look that you are wanting.
For anything larger than a 15mm spacer, rolling the rear fenders will be required, however, so that the inner lip on the fender does not cut into your tires.
The 18x8 +42 fitment will push the outer edge of your wheels outward about 17mm, giving you a better look, but will still not give a completely flush fitment. There shouldn't be any fender rolling required with this setup.

Hi!
I have fitted on my Ralliart SportBack Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2 235/40R18 95Y tyres on Enkei EKM3 18x8J ET40 rims. Everything is okay with stock suspension.
Will I have rubbing problems with Eibach springs?
Thanks!

I have owned a set of Enkei Imola wheels for the past 5 years. 18x8 +50 offset. I want to change it up a bit. I'm lowered with Eibach pro kit springs. Would a 10mm spacer for the front and a 20mm spacer for the back work for me or should I go a different route? I can roll the fenders if that needs to be done.

Rubbing when lowering
If my wheels are a 18/7.5 with 45 offset would I be able to lower my Ralliart about an inch or inch and a half without having to worry about rubbing or Rolling my fenders?

1st of all, this guide had helped me alot so thank you very much.
I currently have conti dws 235/40/18 on enkei tsp6 18x8 with 40mm offset rims. Also, the car is lowered in BC coilovers.
The fitment is spot on and no rolling of fenders required.

As with the previous poster, tire size is going to be key. Staying with a size similar to the original tire, 215/45 or 225/40, you should have no issues.

Lancer Sportback 1.8
First of all, thanks to this forum.
Helped me a lot with the search for a good rim/tire size.
I went for Rota g force 8.5x18x et 48.
My car is just lowered on Eibach pro kit ( so i can't make a camber adjusment )
With this size the front is perfect. the rear needs that 5mm spacer to be perfect but you need a simple roll on the rears cause it wil rub.
Here it is wiithout a roll and no spacer in the back.

Been on here for a while, coming from heavily modifying my 09 gts now to a 2014 ralliart...
I have decided to go with 17" enkei rpf1 17x8 +45 and will be lowered on swift springs, i had to roll the lancer and dont feel like doing that again.
after searching all these threads i am thinking about running 225/50/17, could i go any bigger without needing a rear roll ?

Hey guys. So I'm relatively new to modding my RA suspension-wise.
I currently have a set of wheels 18x9.5 +24 with 225/40/18 tires.
Will coilovers be enough or do I need to pickup a set of camber arms as well? Anything else that I would need to do to make it fit? (I already assume I need to have the fenders rolled in the rear)
Thanks ahead of time!

Hello fellow Ralliart enthusiasts!
I bought a 2009 Ralliart recently (with only 60k on it) and it's currently riding on 17" XXR's that I don't like much at all.
The car has been lowered an inch all around using TEIN coilovers.
Would I be fine buying a set of 18x8.5 wheels and running a good set of tires on this setup? Or would I need to look at 18x8 instead...?
Thanks for the help!
