Unfortunately BC sent me the wrong springs to begin with, so they are also 6/4. I was rather disappointed to learn of this, but it's half my fault for not double checking before install (I took them at their word).
Lesson learned, as double-triple check

6/4 is WAY too soft, that is really intended for a base Lancer which is 600lbs lighter.
Go Swift, even BC will tell you they offer Swifts as a standard option (i.e. they are completely compatible). 8/7 feels incredibly better, and if I could do it all over I would have gone w/ the inverted coilover set-up and upgraded to 8f/8r Swifts.

No I didn't re-valve. They say going up/down 2k is ok, that's why I kept the rears to 7 instead of 8 (I didn't want to send them out).
I went through MAP, and the springs are ~$70 each.

Wouldn't that be 3k higher? lol
Now, was the helper spring really needed for the BC's, or will going with just the two sets of springs be fine? Sorry for all of the questions, I'm trying to find out all I can so I don't have to just order a new set of coilovers and be done with it.

Was advised the Helper's didn't serve a beneficial purpose for these coilovers (they do for stock struts and other brand coilovers, just not for BC's due to the dual adjust-ability) so I stuck with the 8" 8k's F and 7" 7k's R. Suspension feels more solid; 4k is absurdly soft for these cars, don't understand A)why it's the default or B)why they gave me 6/4 when I asked for 8/6, but whatever.
8/7 is still plenty soft for DD, I can even see 9/9 being manageable (so long as your don't live in....Michigan or elsewhere w/ horrible pot-marked roads). Specific local roads that I had to slow down for, due to bottoming out, the springs rates now just eat them up

I guess I need to learn how to read on Monday evenings, lol.
Cool, so I should be perfectly fine with getting a set of 8" 165mm 8k's for the front, and 7" 165mm 6/7k's for the rear. I appreciate the help man, this is the first car I've ever had coilovers on and it's a lot more than just putting springs on it and forgetting it, as a matter of fact this car is a lot of firsts for me.

Oh, as far as the springs being 6/4, I was told that BC would be defaulting to these since they had too many complaints from the Lancer owners that 8/6 was too harsh, so unless you get on their *** about wanting a different springrate, you'll be getting 6/4's.
Just as a forewarning for anyone else picking up BC's in the future.

Yeah I bought mine ~15 months ago (prior to the 6/4 default) and specifically asked for 8/6.
But for everyone else, no shocker yet another manufacturer thinks we are "just a lancer".
