So its not possible to use a particular grade of steel vice aluminum to skip the expensive anodizing part and just ceramic coat said steel?

Very much apprieciate what you've done with this project just a shame to see this idea not become reality based on the coating required to use aluminum

The brackets would weight 10 pounds. It would have to be inch thick steel.

Why so thick? Steel is stronger than aluminum, so in theory would require less material than aluminum.

They have to be so thick, because you have to offset the calipers so much.

Would it be possible to use spacers like you did for your original brackets with the C5/C6 calipers?

Nah, the calipers are meant to be mounted right on top of the stock mounting points. You basically have to duplicate this with the bracket.

Some things I was hoping to see for the Ralliart that no one has made which seem simple to design but for some reason never were produced:
  1. Replacement Metal footrest for LHD Ralliart and Evo X MR that gets rid of the cheap plastic one. (not just some ebay cover)
  2. Master Cylinder brace for LHD Ralliart.
