18x9 et35. How much work am I up against?

So I finally found wheels I like, but the only size even close to working on my 09 RA is 18x9, 35et. I know "they will fit", but I'm curious what will have to be done. Im fine rolling fenders, but I really do not want to do any cutting, pulling or tugging on the bodywork. My goal is a very flush look. No stanced wheels hanging out or silly stretched tires. Planning either a 235/40 or 245/40 tire.

I'm still stock suspension, but planning on a set of lowering springs when I get the wheels. I was considering coilovers, but it's just not in the budget this year.

I took some rough measurements tonight, and it looks like they would come flush to the center of the rear wheel well, but stick out 3/4" in the front!?!?! Does that sound right?

I've searched, read the fitment threads, etc.. I just can't find enough difinitive information to be confident before I find a bank to rob so I can get all this stuff. Any guidance would be appreciated.

once you've lowered the car, the fronts will be fine and no work is required. the rears will require a roll - you'll have a nice setup with the 18x9 +35 with 245 40 18 and your speedo will be pretty close to stock so it won't be out by much.

You think the 245/40 will clear without anything more than a fender roll in the rear? That would be ideal.
