Still, remotely adjustable damping doesn't really mean as much if the dampers themselves aren't very good! Bear in mind I've only ridden in a Civic with them but I was not impressed with the performance of the Teins...since it adjusts only damping, you're basically going to find the one setting that works best and never touch them again.

The adjustment only helps if the dampers are dynamic to begin with (i.e. the Ohlins on my buddy's S60R, or any Audi with MRC), where the change in setting changes how the damper reacts altogether. Even with those systems, because the spring rate doesn't change, the effect is still noticeable but when running full soft or full hard, the damping is going to be over/under damped for the spring rate....

cusco and hks dont make a elect damper controller for the ralliart..

only coilover i know that has edfc is the tein flex

reason i really want it, with my work i have the potential to get moved to a city where the roads can vary between good and abosolute crap... so being able to soften up the suspension on the fly is useful...

i like a stiff suspension but its no good when the roads u drive on are comparable to a wash board

Wasn't talking about the RA in specific, since the previous poster mentioned Cusco.

Getting an adjustable setup isn't as catch-all as buyers may think.

Pretty sure the tanabe GF's for the RA have a electronic damper controller... ;)

anyone have a link, i tried googling it and no dice, as well tanabe website has no listing for anything other then evo 8/9

terbo88 Sep 16, 2010 10:14 PM

My bad.. On here

http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/index.p...&mid=3&cid=143

They have the TEAS controller listed as a CY4A part. But then continue to say its only compatiable with pro-5 and pro-7 tanabe coilovers, not the GF coilovers.

Wether they make pro-5 or pro-7's for the RA, im not to sure dude.

$1660.00

http://www.tein.com/products/flex.html
http://www.tein.com/price/mitsubishi.html

http://www.tein.com/products/edfc.html
EDFC part # EDK05-12140
EDFC strut Kit part # EDK06-K4474
