Pretty basic springs question
Hey guys,
I am wanting to get some springs for my ralliart. I am just wanting something modest to improve the look of the car. Two main questions. 1. Best springs recommendation for something not slammed, but just an overall improvement to the factory ride height. 2. When I bought my scion tc, I had them lower it at the dealership with factory TRD springs. Just like I want now' it was a slight drop. Worst decision I ever made, I was wearing out the insides of my tires in like 15k miles' went for an alignment, didn't help. I just want to know what needs to be done along with the drop? Alignment, camber kits? I want to lower the car, just want to do it right. |
1. Swift Springs
2. If the ralliart division was not shut down, i'm sure the :mitsu: dealers would have done the same. Camber bolts up front and definatly an alignment. |
If you want to extend the life of your tires, do NOT go with factory alignment spec. It is spec'd in such a way that you will see heightened inner wear on your tires, similar to the scion you experienced.

Eibach Pro-Kit gives a nice drop and keeps a comfortable ride with slightly improved handling. When i get the car aligned i am sure to tell them about the drop. No issues so far...
