Bumping this thread to the top!

I am planning on doing the evo x turbo swap. From what I know we have EVO X injectors and EVO X fuel pump.

I was told that I need to upgrade the fuel pump at the shop. Thoughts? Anyone have any clear proof?

Not for the stock X turbo you shoudln't, unless you are also changing fuel type (e-85). You can come close-ish on the injectors with full bolt-ons and an aggressive tune, but the pump s/b good.

You'll be fine on the stock pump. If you go with a larger turbo than stock X, then you may need to worry about it. As razorlab said, he was fine with the stock pump using a BBX lite.

The only time you would probably need to upgrade the pump is if you go larger than BBX full. If you go E85, you'll need to upgrade regardless of what turbo you use.

Good information that the Ralliarts have the OEM X pump.

I was looking to upgrade the fuel pump as well and thought the Cobb Evo X Walbro Kit was the best bang for the buck as it includes the adapter.

I plan on BBX Lite and ID1000's.

If one was to upgrade the pump (e85 etc) what one would be the preferred kit - the dw300?

I found my hose disconnected, threw a "service engine soon" light.. Luckily I had read the Brontos thread about blowing his motor.. Found mine in time, thank god.. Zip tied and cleared the DTC.. All is good now.

So does Mitsubishi.net have the upgrades relays, or are they selling the same crappy OEM ones.. Suppose I should have looked it up before posting

OH and with my experience, I have a upgraded EF2 turbo, I had to upgrade injectors, but still on stock pump. Just cant run WOT for more than 25 seconds or I'll possibly run way too lean (waiting on pump kit) Evo X turbo is all good with stock pump.
