a fix is coming out soon. with the next base map. Even if you disable P0139 and clear it, it will still come back.

Im glad that this isn't serious. My cel came up again just after 2 weeks. Thanks rich for the support. Im thinking of going to PA to Cbrd to get a rad thrown in. Once I fix my exhaust leak... that is.

This new fix, will we be able to cut paste into our current ROM or have to switch to a GST or TephraMod kind of ROM.. When you say "base map" is what im confused about..

Sorry I'm still new with the terminology

Okay... regarding the exhaust-related DTC bothering crak on his 2009 USDM RA...

Addressing this DTC wasn't anything needing special work, or finding new stuff. It all came down to applying the simple steps already documented in some other DTC threads (albeit rather hard to find/comprehend). Specifically...

(1) In ECU Options Set #2, change bit.1: Enable Rear O2 Sensor from 1 to 0.

(2) DTC P0140 Disable 1500 -> 8000 Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity. As the name says, change from 1500 to 8000.

Again, that's on a 2009 USDM RA. Each year ROM (and probably region) seems to have its own foibles and solutions. I'm not at all familiar with them all - just sayin'.

Now, regarding razorlab's basemaps, I'm not sure it's appropriate to apply a "blanket rear o2 disable" to all TBE style maps. Some people may well want to keep their rear o2 sensor working, just with an extender or anti-fouler (or whatever).

So I reckon we simply need to get organised w.r.t. TBE base map users, DTCs, etc. We need to have a place that details each ROM ID and how to disable exhaust-related codes. My 2c worth.

Oh, and on crak's ROM/vehicle, there was no need to muck around with any P0139 disable at all.

YMMV - particularly for later years and other markets.

Rich

PS. Apologies to ECU-tweaking veterans who just fell asleep at the bleedin' obvious being explained, complete with screenshots, lol.
