I have the depo HFC and the UR DP. No issues. Code does come on if the tune doesn't disable it though. Easy fix.

I bought the Tsudo Resonated test pipe in sept. It was $109 with shipping and cell fix. I know you said HFC but just throwing this out there.

I installed it myself, fit good, huge performance gain over stock. Had it paired to my 2.75" DC Sports catback, used some liquid gasket to insure no leak and i've been running it since the fall with out an issue. Got 3 months or so with no cel, now I get one every 3 weeks or so. I just keep a code reader in my trunk.

I wouldn't recommend you installing the DP on your own as it is a PITA...Without a hoist it's impossible..

I tried gave up and got a shop to do my DP install.
lies , dont need a hoist, I did mine with a couple socket extensions and 45 degree sockets.

I ran my car for a while with UR downpipe and UR testpipe and never had codes.

That's good to know but I'm really curious if others have had codes pop up with the HFC.

Did the Tsudo test pipe help with the volume of the DC catback? If anything, I'd like to go with a resonated test pipe as well to keep exhaust noise under control.

The DC catback on its own isn't a whole lot louder than stock. The testpipe did make it a little louder but there is zero rasp. It isn't loud imo, I can make a video on the weekend if you are interested or go to YouTube and type in agency power Ralliart bov, I have a video there.

I've decided to skip the HFC and go with a test pipe instead. With VA's more "strict" emissions laws, even a 200-cell HFC won't pass. So I'd still have to swap back to the OEM cat anyway for emissions inspection, not worth it. I'd rather get a UR mini muffler test pipe and quiet the exhaust down a bit than worry about the hippies complaining how my car isn't filtering the exhaust gasses.

Would it be a problem to use a testpipe and then switch to the cat stock for emissions inspections? Would it have to be changed back to stock like a week earlier to clear everything out?

I could switch out test pipes in an hour probably, i'm by no means a mechanic in the slightest.

You could switch out the test pipe for the stock cat the same day, clear any code you may have had from the test pipe and you're good to go

After doing more research, I decided against the test pipe. There's no real benefit over a HFC with the small turbo on this car, and I would prefer not to have the raw exhaust smell. So I have placed an order for the Depo HFC and UR short downpipe. Should be here in a week or so, might as well install those at the same time I install my gauges.

I still need to figure out how to couple the the 3" HFC with the 2.75" Borla midpipe.

Soi received my depo racing hiflow cat today, gonna install this weekend. It doesnt come with bolts so was wandering if anyone running this cat remembers what size bolts they used. I went to AMS website and looked at the bolt sizes they send with their HFC do you thnk those bolt sizes will be fine for depo HFC? Already purchased gaskets from vibrant.

Did you buy your Depo brand new from Tim? If so it should have come with bolts, IIRC.
