AYC + AWC without electrics and and AYC pump

Yes, i know it sounds little funny. And no,this is not again "RA to manual swap?" question. There is point for me all of this.
Just want figure out couple things, and show you all some cool things with my "Project Livefast" soon.

Any idea how our RA`s driveline will work, when non electrics and hydraulic AYC is not connected.
And yes, car will not start/run. But let´s think there is engine which is runned by standalone ECU and transmission is example normal 5-speed manual. Just need to know before i try couple things.

Well, you do not have AYC nor a AYC pump in your Ralliart.

doesn't the acd system default to open if there is a problem? So you'd basically have an open center differential.

Yes,i know.
I meant front diff. So front is not AYC.Ok.
So is it ACD then? Same as EvoX?
Hydraulic on our cars controls front diff or that AWC....?

I JUST got lost here

The front diff on the ra and evo x are limited slip mechanical diffs.

The transfer case or center diff is a electronic limited slip which uses the term acd for active center diff which is also the same for the ra and evo x.

The difference is in the rear diff which for the ra is a mechanical limited slip and for the evo x uses the ayc diff wich uses a pump to tranfer power between left and right rear wheels

Hope that clears somethings up.

The acd allows for a difference in speed between the front and rear wheels while turning. Tarmac allows the biggest differnce in speed fallowed by gravel and then snow with the least

You just managed to convey in one short sentence what others have totally failed to describe in multiple paragraphs.

Nice work!

Thanks! This clears up a lot!
But still confused about one thing.... So what RA´s hydraulic is for then? That canister what is in our trunk....For transfer case? Always thought that is for front diff.

Edit. Answering to my self: HAVE TO BE! Long day....little bit tired...

The hydraulic pump is for the ACD, but it is in your engine bay on the RA, left side by the shock tower.

Just clearing this up for everyone else that reads this...

The canister in the trunk is for the center diff also know as acd or transfer case which uses a hydrolic pump to clamp the steel clutches together

So meaning that it would not grip at all? All lock mode all the time?
