but - if you entered a 2011 VIN maybe it automatically changed the cff file for you?

i don't even recall the flashed file coming up after the process? I'll have to watch more carefully next time.

also i had a question - are you US guys using the exact same CFF files that we AUD/EDM guys are? or is there a set of EDM and a set of USDM files floating around the place? I'm assuming we all have the same set of files....

and are your ecu roms being reset to stock with this process? coz mine are. the tunes are lost and need to be reflashed.
I'm wondering if it sees you have American cars and isn't flashing EDM roms onto the ecu as part of the process. That, or i'm doing it slightly differently...
My tune was untouched by the process. Tried using EcuFlash after flashing the .cff file and EcuFlash said "identical ROM loaded". And I used the same B001 file from the first page of this thread. I also followed each step on the first page of this thread for programming the .cff file.

Interesting.
i wonder if that's because you have a 2011 ecu and tried flashing a 2009 TCU firmware, and the MUT3 recognises the ecu roms aren't compatible or something.

I'll do some more messing around

I'll have a read of those instructions, maybe I do it differently.

lol Sorry guys I even confused myself yesterday with so many .cff files. It's 8631B153.cff we need to stay away from. Sorry Beeble lol..

I am thinking of flashing B152 on and, I did a binary comparison and it doesn't look like a lot of changed from B001.

Euro SST files:
8631B001.cff (24.8.2009)
8631B002.cff (24.8.2009)
8631B003.cff (24.7.2009)
8631B151.cff (21.6.2010)
8631B152.cff (21.6.2010)

Outlander file:
8631B153.cff (1.4.2010)

We'll need to dig deeper into that file format before we can make sense of binary diffs, IMO. There's got to be compressed ROM data in there.

We'll need to unravel the file format, get to the raw ROM data, identify the cpu architecture, disassemble code, find data and ultimately find a way to repackage modded ROM data back into a format that can be flashed.

Of course, that's all before breakfast.

Now thats the atitude I like to see. No pressure, but I assumed you'd have this all figured out by now. Some times I forget how lucky we Ralliart owners are with all the smart and courageous people that are willing to go the extra mile for the community.

if you flash B152 on , I'll tip you won't have SuperSport
I'm pretty sure that is the 2011 RA SST file

B151 is the 2011 Evo file

Does your LC actually work properly with v30?

right.
I have to wait for some more EDM/ADM cars to get done.
I'm doing some on the weekend so I'll see what happens with them.
Maybe I'm doing something weird with the MUT3 but i had a read of your instructions and that's how i do it too!

Will report back soon

I was with mxzas last night and, did a reflash to the latest v30 beta and, it seems good so far. We ran in S-Sport and he commented that S-Sport is very jerky(which occured even with an older beta tune) but, I'm sure it's intended to be more performance forcus. Makes me wonder if the S-Sport tables was always in the RA stock tune since it probably inherited from the Evo stock tune.

Surprisingly LC was very smooth.
