Yeah, there is still a tutorial in the works, unfortunately due to issues that I ended up having with car it won't be out of the shop for a few weeks.
Don't worry it wasn't the transmission, it was a nice older lady that wanted to see the back end of my car really closely.

I don't understand why people are so worked up over the rev hunt. To be clear:
I HAVE REV HUNT and I DO NOT have the S SPORT flash. As long as you stay above 2500 rpm you will be fine.
It's just another unique thing our transmission does.
I have posted this before but it seems to have been ignored.

Ok, there seems to be a huge educational gap between rev hunt and SST-Slip.
First Rev Hunt is where the gear ratio to pressure is different and it causes the transmission to seek the proper "happy" spot. The Ralliart has a different sized 5th and 6th gear than the Evolution X MR.
So when an the Ralliart SST gets a flash from the Evolution MR the slight slide in the "happy" spot causes the Rev Hunt. It's trying to modify pressure on the clutch pack to get into the spot it needs. It doesn't hurt the transmission it's just damn annoying.
CFMP RAblue, if you have rev hunt and you are on the stock flash than I suggest that you have your dealer do a full SST Teach in. The transmission for whatever reason hasn't figured out that your clutch pack is slightly thinner than it's expecting. That will cause the Rev Hunt problem as well. If that doesn't fix the issue then it's an internal sensor that either dirty or clogged and not reading correctly. A stock Ralliart SST should not have Rev Hunt.
Now, SST slip is a totally different problem. The SST slip is where your vehicle RPM's will jump a few hundred if not a thousand RPM's while accelerating. That is a problem and it basically means that you need a new clutch pack or inner seal that isn't allowing it to keep the pressure.

Yes, but it's very touchie. I'm working with Betty from EvoxForums on it. I just wish I had my car because I have so many other ideas. In 1 week I got rear-ended and I had my car laptop die. Thankfully I have insurance and cloud storage and didn't lose much of either.
