browsing on the local classified, I came across what "seems" like a good deal. Checking out some of the sellers other "made in china" items has me suspicious though. Does this look legit to anyone else? Don't AMS UICP go for like $3-400?

 

It cant really be a fake intercooler pipe! It is real and it is the uicp for the evo. The guy selling this pipe said he just bought the AMS pipe and hes selling his previous one. He is not saying that this one that he is selling is the AMS one!

actually a little off topic, would I have any warranty problems replacing the stock pipe with the evo one? I mean both are oem

 

Any time you'll have a warranty issue it has to be based exactly on that part. If for any reason you need to take in for warranty just put the oem part back on.

 

thats the k&n uicp, if your buying used 50-100 is probably avg unless its a high quality. you shouldnt have warranty problems with just a upper intercooler pipe alone.

 

Tiim at DEPO Racing sells awesome hard pipes. I bought my upper pipe from him for less than 120 bucks shipped. Nice chrome finish but he also offers the wrinkle black coating.
