opinion on ams intercooler? my local tuner told me they have one in the shop

possible power gain. increase in reliability, cooler air, this shouldnt even be a question. get an aftermarket intercooler.

AMS is fine. Pretty much ANY aftermarket intercooler will be fine for that matter. If you do get the AMS one, just make sure it will fit with your current UICP and LICP. If not, you'll have to ask if the AMS intercooler comes with a matching UICP and LICP included, or be willing to buy those separately from AMS or another vendor.

When buying the aftermarket pipes, I know that the UICP will fit no problem. But I have seen a lot of talk about issues with aftermarket LICP. Some people saying you need to relocate your BOV, and some saying the LICP for aftermarket intercoolers do not bolt right on.

So please help, do I just buy the UICP from AMS? And what do I do about a LICP?
