Looking For A Known Good Camshaft/Crankshaft Correlation Waveform
I'm thinking about doing the timing chain as preventative maintenance. I'd be interested in a non-intrusive (As in pulling the front cover.) way of measuring chain stretch.
Can anyone with a known good or new timing chain post a CMP (Both sensors)/CKP correlation waveform?
FWIW ~60k miles.
Yellow: CKP
Green: Exh CMP
Blue: Int CMP

I will probably try and log some data for this effort before (and after) I get the chain replaced - just need to get a scope.
In October of this year I got hit with a crank no start (~65k miles, low compression ~50 psi). Did a capture and compared (don't remember if I saved it), found it to be off. Pulled the cam cover to verify and had some chain stretch. The exhaust cam rotated backwards under compression after shutting off. When I have some time I'll upload a new capture.
