Hypothetical - Ralliart transmission in a 2012 SE?
If this needs to be moved it can but I figured Ralliart forum made more sense since this is about the transmission. In theory is it possible to swap the boring AF CVT in an SE and change it to a ralliart transmission? Logistics aside i'm just wondering if it's even possible. I realize I could just go and try and get a ralliart. However my SE is paid for and has been paid for and a ralliart that isn't beat to **** around me is $15k+ with a trade in value of about $6k which is why i'm wondering if the swap is even possible since the cost would be way less. And no this wouldn't be trying to turbo and build a ralliart this would literally just be to add gears so the car is less boring.

I don't see it being remotely feasible, the whole rear end on the car is different, unless your willing to give up the AWD aspect of it but then your paying 6-10k for a transmission that is AWD capable but using 50% of it lol.
As you guessed you would be much better of spring for an Evo or Ralliart.
The only real reason I could see doing this is because you have so much damn money you got tired of burning it in your fireplace lol

If you are willing to throw money away like this. PM me to send you my Paypal address. You shouldn't mind sending a few hundreds to me anyway if you are willing to do this :P
My recommendation:
Get a RA or MR instead.
-Less trouble.
-OEM SST installation
-More OEM power
