THE Complete Evo X turbo swap parts list!
This is the list of everything needed to swap an Evo X turbo onto a Ralliart. If its not listed, the Ralliart has the same part # and can be reused on the new turbo setup. This list should be comprehensive and complete. Its even broken down into required and recommended pieces. {thumbup} Prices are list prices from Mitsubishi.

Very comprehensive list. Thanks!
|
soo when will we see a complete fp evo red swap?
|
What a great, comprehensive list! Should be an excellent resource for those planning to do the X swap in the near future. {thumbup}
|
A red swap would be the same, just replace the OEM turbo, inlet pipe, inlet pipe gasket, and compressor bracket and bolts with the cost of a Red.
|
awesome work and thanks for posting!!
|
Great post Eric{thumbup}
Mods, I think it would be a good idea to sticky this at the top as people are always asking whats needed for the X turbo swap. |
Sweet! Now I'm set! Time to order the rest of the parts I need :D
|
Is a "swap kit" with FP Red going to be part of the Black Friday sale? :)

One thing that should be added to this list is a tune.
I'm sure a stock Evo X flash would work in a pinch. |
ya, you would have to pay for a tune, so thats some added money. Im sure you could get by without one, but I wouldnt consider that very safe, nore would you get the full power advantage.

I'm sure a stock Evo X flash would work in a pinch. I still haven't heard an actual tuner chime in as to whether a stock EVO X map can be used after a swap. Granted, a custom tune is in order, but it would be nice to know if the car could be driven in for a tune. |
i would hazard to guess a stock mr map would be better then the stock ra map for sure.
|
I don't think that stock evo map would work. I believe the evo uses both an active and a passive solenoid to control boost. I think custom tailored target load, wgdc, and fuel maps would be needed.

I can envision horrible things happening... |
