QTP Cutout....yes or no?

hey guys I'm considering using the QTP cutout on my stock RA exhaust to maintain the stock noise when needed and the aggressive tone when I want to get on it....I'm running stage 1 93 Cobb AP Tune...would you guys recommend the QTP?

Thanks,

-Zak

If you want, too loud for me. Be sure to get a tune for that, as you will be running WAY rich when you open the cut-out (much higher load on every map in the ECU).
It's really intended for upgraded turbos (BIG snails) who create a ton of pressure.

I had one on my RS. Really cool if you are looking to get both extremes out of your exhaust (stock noise to race car rumble)

I've been considering the same thing. Slap one at the axle back point.

If I put it farther back on the exhaust(before the muffler) like GAbOS said would I need a tune? Or would that be pointless?

If you are retaining the OEM piping from the muffler back to the turbo, than no. Pretty much anything Cat Back does not require a tune.

It's pretty simple to disconnect the rear muffler from the joint at the rear axle. Should try it when you have some time and see for yourself.

I have been considering this just because I love that loudness. I used to have a full straight pipe turboback exhaust and I miss it. 2muchboost knows what im talking about my car was loud as hell
