Brought my car in for routine oil change @ 4k. I told the service guy that I had switched to synthetic after the initial break in period (switched @ 1k). I guess they didn't write it down on the work order or something, cause they filled my car with 5w-20 bulk mineral oil (even though the manual specifically states that the car uses 5w-30). I caught it when I went to pay the cashier and the bill came to $38, I was prepared to pay 85+. After a nice conversation with the service manager...i got a synth oil change for $38. :P. I now do my own oil in my driveway.

Lookin' good almost2009, congrats on the new purchase! I take it you bought it used, seeing your request in the how-to forum. How many miles were on it?

We all (dyck8888, toredefine, almost2009, me, madcows - even though he has an rx-8) need to get together and just go cruising around

Thanks i got it with about 1700 on it. I thought i was the only one with a WW ralliart in the area haha. i wish i found one in silver. But im scheduled in the winter for a free oil change. But yeah we should meet up sometime.
