Yeah I plasti dipped the scoop then clear coat, sanded it afterwards..
Also the chrome ring and lower lip but no clear coat
Chrome ring is for audi's IMO.
Lower lip always got nasty from bug splashes. so now you can't see the splashes anymore .
Thanks!

If you have vinyl available I recommend using that. Plasti will prolly peel off starting from the edges unless you secure it with something else. This was for temp fun.
Someone try vinyl, let me know how it is?

Wasnt a direct fit at all lol.. 2 holes lined up one on each side.. had to drill 2 new ones.. also shave off the plastic clip on the bottom, it was easier then i thought it was going to be, but i work with sheetmetal/tin so the fear of holes not lining up after i drilled wasnt really there. The hole for the plastic clip on the oem wing wasnt 100% covered either but i used my secret fix now you can't even tell there was one even if you knew where it was...
i will take some close up pics and let you guys see.
Also i used a doublesided waterproof adhesive all the way around on the bottom, so water has no chance of getting into the trunk unlike the oem wing.
