There is actually a nice set up on that thread that I posted a link too that looks very good and they guy all he had to do was roll the fenders and it fit. I think it was a black RA and it was 18x9 +36 and the clearence was still very good. He also had 235/40s on his car and it wasn't strech at all so I'm sure he could take it to the track if he wanted too.

I want to do either a 18x9 +25 or 18x9.5 +35. I don't know yet but I don't want to push it too much to the limit because this is my DD so I might go thru tires like a champ. I guess we'll see.....

I'm off to pick up my ride from the body shop - with the flaring, our guards are pretty flimsy so be prepared to allow coin to fix up the abuse

Are you using the standard headlight housings for the HID's?

Will be good to see the dyno results when all done. Keep us posted.

i pick up the car today so can't wait till i actually have headlights that light up the road i've put in the philips xenon HID conversion which has the ballast kit, globes and wires etc - went with the 6000k blubs (best choice for the light output and brightness) http://www.lighting.philips.com.au/v...p?id=1012984#0

what i found though is that our RA have a separate low beam and high beam, so if you want to do both, you'll need 2 kits. i just went the low beam HID which should provide the necessary lighting for country driving, combined with an upgraded 4300k cyrstal vision high beam bulbs to provide the extra distance needed
