hahaha i've been planning on it...
everytime I come home and i see that can of plasti-dip in my garage i think to myself, "should iiii.....??"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
anyway...
So I picked up the AEM Cold Air Intake yesterday.... it was by far the biggest pain in the *** install I've ever done.
Disconnecting the bottom of the stock intake from the turbo inlet was my biggest issue. The stock hose clamp was facing downward. so I had to either use my socket wrench or a screwdriver to loosen the hose clamp... but since it was facing downward it was hard to reach and I couldnt see it... I just had to feel for it. And the bastard was way down in there. I'm 5'8" and I felt like I was 3 feet tall cause I could barely reach anything
There wasn't very much room under there either. My screwdriver was too long so it wouldn't fit, and I barely had enough room to turn my socket wrench...
all i know is i said, "**** this ****" like a 100 times... and after 3 hours i finally disconnected the bastard.
anyway, it's done :faint:

Now all you need is to slap on the Base Map (the AEM version). Quite a dramatic improvement from what I recall (it's been a while, ha).
Octane Blue is still my fav, love the color when waxed!

I'm building my catback either this saturday or next wednesday (just straight pipe, then split to two glasspacks out the back), then evox fmic, and the ams uicp/licp, and bov, then my tune
