I thought you were going to ship it out and get it done Mike? Anyways it looks really good. Reminds me of when I did it back in the day to my Stratus coupe.

Was going to but now I know how to do it myself. Did a first time mistake tho by not marking the headlight adjust bolts. But I got it fixed. Only minor mistake.

i wanna blackout and tint mine aswell but i really don't trust myself to not ruin a set of hid's.

Thanks guys I wanted to be more diffrent lol and I was bored so I did this in a day.

I would help u with ur projectors if you were closer it's not much diffren than the non SSS headlights just a few more pieces.

I like it with the color. It matches

what paint did you used? plasti-dip? and how hard was it to take the pieces you needed to paint out? i'm thinking about doing this soon.

{thumbup}wasnt that hard just took ALOT of time, and as far as paint I used 500 degree engine paint Flat black {thumbup}

hey lancer would you consider trying out to add some angel eyes on a set? since u take em apart anyways _)

Looks great! I planned on doing this also + adding the angels eyes.

I could do that do I have to wire them or just put the rings In.

Ive never tried had someone do it for my Lights in my eclipse but should be just put rings in and run the wires through the back, there are instructions for setting them up but when done to stock lights, looks bad ass.

NICE!!! Cant wait for mine to get done now. Im gonna have to go in a different direction for rims now. I was gonna go for gold or bronze, but graphite is a must now with these lights. I like the front lip too. Where did ya get that from?

the lip is home depot lol garage door weather stripping. How you want ur lights the same as mine? As far as doing some in white I could do that too just take a little longer.

Yeah, I'll prolly end up just doing them like yours but with the angel eyes sometime in the near future. My buddy runs a little business where he does all types of retrofitting and etc.

Really, garage door weather stripping? LMAO didnt expect that one. Looks nice tho, almost professionally done. Yes, I want my lights the same as yours. I love that look, and I think with the rally armor mud flaps and darker rims its gonna look sick. Just gotta wait a bit cuz I need my car for the next couple of weeks and Im low on $$$ lol. yes I can use plasti dip if you wanted and not its not a rexspeed hood scoop factory scoop with black vinyl

Yes plasti-dip works great. Matches the texture perfect.

I blacked out my headlights also...except i did the whole thing...like no more reflectors. Now i gotta tell you when you do this HIDs are a must if you want
your headlights to work right or you can do like me and put in HID fogs and
brighter headlight bulbs and keep it moving. tell me what you think.

How can you even see the lights when they're on if EVERYTHING is painted black?

when you have the regular bulbs in and on they don't reflect at all. Thats why i got
brighter bulbs for the headlights, and high beams and installed HIDs in my fogs. The
reason I wanted everything black is because i am getting halo rings and i wanted them
to stand out.

That's a no go if u ask me. And I agree should have did the side too. I didn't do a how to I fallowed a thread on here that a member did with his headlights it's not that hard just very risky and takes alot of time and steady hands.

08Lancer, Have you done any HID assemblies? I bet those would look really bad ass. It would be super bad a$$ if you did what this guy did! He put something behind the ballasts to give it a mean looking color, very cool. Not sure if the lights are painted black as well, but looks like it. He said his buddy painted the part behind the projectors to give it that look, but when the lights are actually on, they are white and show no other color.

Not yet but I'm sure I could get that look. Looks like he tinted the projector lense red. I wouldn't do that but yeah it looks sick. His headlights are blacked out btw.
