sti ebay lip
So I was reading a thread with a type of lip on ebay for sti/wrx that fits on the ralliart, but has (my opinion) ugly sides where the lip comes out to "wrap" sides of our bumper. I prefer the clean look of something thats just extension under and out. I came across this one, I believe its the same one I've seen in the same thread that ppl bought. anyone confirm? gonna get at that price and get it drilled on.

Yes this is the correct style for the flay S204 style. The CS2 style is the winglets on the end.

And installing just drilling holes and screwing it in?
|
Yep just drill holes through the lip to bumper using self tap screws

it is the exact same lip, 06-07 sti lip. but the seller is "advertising" it as a mitsubishi lip because there are alot that rock it. below in the details of the sell it says sti lip for 9g lancers |
oh i didn't know that.. i came across this lip before and didn't really read the description.
thanks for the heads up on that! |
Man no wonder that **** didn't fit my fcking ralliart
I bought hat lip from that stupid ass company and it did t fit even drilled on and I drove over 40 miles one way to get it and I went back because it didn't fit the first time or second I stil have it in my yard laying around

yea is not a perfect fit but you can make it work that sportback on that picture is mine they took that pic from a post i made here a while back, I have this lip on mine for over a year now with no issues...

How imperfect is the fitment? Did you have to do anything special to install it other that just drilling and screwing it to the bumper? I'm about to order this but I always hate the risk when you eBay stuff.

Here is the picture of your car I am referencing: Attachment 317691 |
I installed this using self drilling screws and some washers you would have to screw it to your bumper is easier if you lift the front end to install it, its also easier if you get somebody to help you because it needs to be move back and forward a bit to find the perfect spot, the ends would not be flush it would be like and inch longer on each side, and the front part would not be completely flush since the lip has a bump on that part but at the end looks pretty good for being a lip that is not design for this car
