Kansai has a working version now in a Limited edition run Evo IX TME (toshiyuki Mukai Edition) .. running a TD05-20G compressor making 420hp at 'only' 1.3 bar (19psi) interesting point is it makes more power than standard turbo ALL ACROSS the rpm range ..

from the thread below

Dynocharts attached to post #9. If true there's something too shoot for.

the thing is, 90% of the people acting a fool about it will never come off of 1500 bucks to buy it.

if i could run a decent 3037 on a stock manifold/injectores/intercooler and didn't have to buy a new downpipe and wastegate, id be all over it

This absolutely, 100% SUCKS. For those of you that said this and that negative about all this I guess it is time for you to celebrate, congrats, have a beer and enjoy.

For those you that have waited patiently and supported what I am trying to do, sorry. I don't know what to say.

The stock turbo quite frankly kicks ***. I have known it and have spent many hours on the phone, along with Jarrod, talking people into sticking with it. The spool up of the stock turbo cannot be beat and the overall power for the street is also very hard to beat. I have supported the stock turbo since day one with these cars and haven't stopped through all the R&D we have done. Maybe the best money spent is to set up the car the way our RS is right now, save the money you would have spent on a larger turbo and enjoy the hell out of a bad *** fast spooling daily driver.

Above in the dyno charts I will explain what you are looking at. I realize that the charts are hard to read with this many, please don't ask for me to break them down further.

Dyno run #359 is the stock turbo the last pull I made on it, this was using our ported and ceramic coated stock manifold, 02 housing and turbine housing. As you can see the spool up is just awesome with that combination and also gave the best over all power of all the combinations I tried with the stock turbo.

Dyno run #362 is the stock turbo with the header I built. As you can see the spool up was effected fairly hard. I could have duplicated the curve up top as you can see they are only off a few HP but I could tell the HP wasn't going to be any better and the loss down low made me just quit.

Dyno run #363 is the 20G compressor wheel we made. This is the second cut down version of it. I believe the CNC machining is what is hurting us on this wheel and feel that a perfectly cast version of the wheel still has some hope of working out well. Few more weeks and we'll find out.

Dyno run #372 is the old style DSM 20G mounted on our cast manifold for our turbo kits. Good thing about this is it bolted up really nice. The 02 housing we make works, the manifold works, oil lines and such are a swap except for the oil return which is cut and then you add a piece of hose. For those of you that love some of the old DSM turbos that are being made from companies like FP, I will sell the manifolds/02 housings seperately as soon as we get the new batch in. Anway, as you can see the old style 20G DSM turbo is the worste performing of all. I think this says something about the twin scroll turbine housing and the stock compressor housing on the EVO 16G. This is why I have hope that a real cast perfect reverse scroll 20G wheel will still work. The DSM turbo did hold very perfect boost of 19-20 psi all the way to 7500. Spool up sucked compared to the CNC 20G EVO turbo as you can see.

Dyno run #11 is our GT#35R turbo turbo kit we have on a car here. The car has NO timing over 25 psi of boost as can be seen from where the HP drops, it has only 264 cams in it and it is completely out of injector, the 750's are at 100% and AFR's are 13.6:1. Just wanted to throw this in to compare spool up and power potential. This particular car is getting the 280 cams right now and 1,000 cc injectors. It should easily make 600 at 30 psi and have a perfectly flat curve to 8500 rpm when I am done. This was the only full pull I made on it as I was dialing in the AFR on this freshly built car.

Thanks for reading guys.
