New Guage Pod for Ralliart / EVO X

I found this on another forum. It looks like CP-E is taking suggestions on cup placement

I like the center three or the dual outer with just the right side and no left.

The top three look more rally inspired.

I don't like any of those, i was thinking of a triple gauge setup on top of the dash above the radio angled slightly. IMO that would look really nice.

Yeah the problem is that entire part of the dash is one piece. They cant fabricate that entire section. The plastic above the speedo is a small area that has space underneath it for wiring.

I wouldnt be opposed the 2 guages on the just the right side.

Actually I dont mind any location so long as it looks stock and its not on the window pillar. Cops see that and they instantly assume there is an easy ticket coming.

I think those gauges look a little strange to my eye in those positions.

I'm liking the way BlackTrack has these two gauges setup in his X.
(BlackTrack, I highjacked these off of you as reference! Hope you don't mind )

I like how its the same line of sight as the tach and odo, looks clean imo.

The gauges in the middle above the dash will be a problem for anyone that has the Recaros unless you have an extra long back or are really tall. The seats make you sit super low and I think the gauges will hinder vision. at least it would for me. I'm 5'7"
I would like and will put gauges on the pillar. I have tinted windows and if the cops are going to pull me over its not because I have visible gauges.

only concern with pillar mount gauges: is getting whacked by them in case of an accident.

^I think they were confirmed that it wouldn't hit you if the airbags deployed.

i like the first pic also but i wouldnt mind having the gauge on the left also..the mickey mouse ones dont look right and the ones in the middle either. the problem i see with the black track ones is that sometimes i Do need to look at my speed and rpms, IMO they block too much of that. you need to see how fast your going if the cop infront of you pulls out a radar

I wasn't looking for the whole dash/gauge section yo be molded or one peice. Simply a triple pod that you can double sided tape to the dash. Anything else like mentioned with the recaros will completly block the rest of the dash.

Having them on the column is alright but the way he has them is not very clean. Part of it is the gauges dont match and the other is you can visible see the mounts. From this picture they dont even look center and straight. Could be the picture though.

I think having them on the right high side without the left is my vote for now.
