15mm spacers needed

Any vendors able to give me quotes on 15mm spacers or anyone able to make a good suggestion on where to get strong, reliable spacers?

I also put a WTB thread in the Evo private sale area...

yeah defenitly go with the www.wheeladpter.com
just make sure when you fill out the form online you put in all the specs for your set up, including bolt pattern, hub bore, hub centric, etc.... once you do that they will call you with a quote. (pretty cheap prices compared to ssome of the other places i looked up)

i had some done with them and it came out perfect, and shipped the same day i ordered them!

I can also vouch for wheeladaptor.com. He made me a set of 10mm thick aluminum spacers for about $100-120 I forget.

You could also try kics, they have good pricing.

John, do you know what measurements/details I need to provide? These will be for 18X9.5 NT03+M +27 rims up front. I have extended studs and don't use those extra bolts on my current spacers for the +40 set. I know I need 15mm and 5X114.3, but not sure about the hub details.

just a quick "search" and here you go, these are your car's measurements!
Bolt Pattern: 5/114.3
Center Bore: 67.1
Thread: 12x1.5

now just do a search to find out if you need hubcentric rings (and what size they are if needed), but since you been using your wheels for a while you should already know that.

What's that all about? I can search for measurements if I know what to search for, but I didn't know to look for center bore or thread - no idea what stuff is or why it's important.

I also don't have a clue about hubcentrics rings. The spacers I have came from Robi along with the rims when I bought them. He gave me what I needed - I didn't request anything specifically. I don't have the slightest clue about the individual details other than them being 25mm thick. You act like this stuff is common knowledge and discussed frequently. Sorry, it's not.

sence of humor? you are the first guy to tell everyone to search! but never mind that man...
im just trying to help and im answing your questions. just measure the inside hub bore on one of your wheels. then tell them the measurements that i gave you and then tell them that you need to have the hub centric ring's "lip" outside diameter to be whatever size you got from measuring your wheel. thats all you need, and she will give you a quote (if i remember right it was $60 per spacer)

I assume the hub bore of the rim is the inner diameter of the middle part that is pressed onto the hub. Should I not just get the measurements of my existing spacers and get the exact same thing but less thick? Same rims with a different offset, thus the different thickness - all else should be the same.

i'll vouch for kics spacers. i liked that the studs were built it but they were not hubcentric.

Warrtalon,

The info I have is:
Evo C'bore = 67.1mm
Hub Protrusion = 9mm (this is how far out the evo hub protrudes from the wheel mounting surface and the the depth of a counterbore in the new spacer should be approx 10mm)
Bolt Pattern = 5x114.3

You would then need:
Thickness of spacer = 15mm
C-bore of new wheel = ??

If you want the spacer to be hubcentric for your new wheels then I would supply the c-bore of those wheels and have Fred do it.

FWIW, I got 2 10mm thick spacers, only hubcentric to the hub and not the wheels for $100 shipped.

HTH,
John

some times the bore of the car's hub is different than the wheel's center bore, because not all wheels are EVO specific. so if your old spacers which i assume were also hubcentric, you can measure the outside diameter of the hubcentric lip (which should be the same measurent that you would get from measuring the inside of the wheel center bore) than send in that measurement in along with the ones i gave you.

and like you said on your first post you already have the extended studs so you dont need studed spacers. and also they can only make hubcentric spacers that are widder than 12mm because the lip on the car's hub is 9mm so they need to have some room in there, but you want 15mm wide spacers so that also doesnt matter.

give them a call tomorrow, the number is on the website, and talk to the person there. the person i talked to when i ordered mine was very knowledgeable and she will be able to tell you everything you need besides the measurements already given to you and then you can fill out the website form and they will ship you the spacers you need.

I will do that tomorrow then. I am not certain on hubcentric to the wheel vs hubcentric to the hub, so I'll take pics of my existing spacers and see what you guys think. These are the same rims, so they should be made the same.
