I'm a huge fan of the Price : performance ratio

even if its 50WHP the Priceerformance ratio is ideal and the fact that its undetectable, hell even if it was 30whp I'd still be interested in something thats undetectable for warranty issues.

The Evo X tuners have uncovered a nasty secret on the X... After market parts are NOT what they used to be on older cars, I would be very hesitant with my purchases (aside from a tune, which is a goldmine of power right now).

No. Usually when someone has their account disabled, it is for violation(s) of site rules (which you can plainly see apply to members and Vendors equally). You may call or email the member in question if you're that curious. This does not effect EvoM's PM system; it is still up and working.

Sure it's tuned very very poorly from the factory. But that doesn't mean adding a TBE, cams, IC, intake, mbc, etc. won't make any power. If that was the case, Big Valley wouldn't be running 10's.

I've been following this thread since I bought my X in August, and patiently waiting with great anticipation for the Z-chip to come out. I remember the days when it was initially 50+ hp and tq, and followed along all the way to over 100 of each. Now after MONTHS OF SILENCE with little or no product information release, and with good reason, the flood of questions will be endless until a lot more people get their hands on the product and post independent results.

I don't, however, believe it's out of line for anyone to question why they will or will not gain +107whp and +106wtq on a tuned stock evo x using the z-chip WHEN THAT'S THE TITLE OF THE THREAD. I don't think anyone's expecting 800hp out of PNP, but we were led to believe we could reach the numbers you have posted (taking into account losses for altitude, octane availability, etc).

Personally, I'm excited about even modest gains if I decide to get the z-chip installed. I'm not expecting 100/100 hp/tq, but relatively close should not be out of the question IMO. I can tell you though, and I've seen this a few times, my security in dealing with TTP grows weary whenever a member of your team responds to people without using professional courtesy. You may feel you are telling them off, but you're really showing everyone else how they should expect to be treated. It seems like there have been many happy people who have dealt with you, and that goes a long ways. But it quickly disappears when comments like the one I quoted are made. Just my $.02.
+1 this is exactly how I feel

MBC sure, Cams, definatly (I think cams shouldnt be considered "bolt on")

how ever, IC, intake, exhaust (aside from a cat delete) are all very questionable in my mind. I highly doubt the majority of the evoX's stock parts are in anyway a restriction to the stock turbo from what I've seen.

again, I'm not an owner and this is just speculation, but not groundless speculation I think.

The stock muffler can is horribly designed for flow. It is not even close to straight through.

AEM standalone ECU's you don't plug into your car and expect 800whp just because you have a 42R strapped on it.

The ZChip allows for end users and tuners to continue to make adjustments to their own mapping as they continue to modify their Evo X.

Basemapping is being sent out for all users based on their data they provided at the time of order about their Evo X.
Are you kidding me? So what... only people who have an Evo deserve your precious time and effort? I own one... but i take that comment as a slight to this whole forum... there are 104 pages on this topic... obviously MANY MANY people are interested.... this is absolutely NOT how you would respond to a potential customer... its not like the zchip is the endall of evo X tuning that you can take every question posted here as a slight to the zchip. I hope the zchip is all it has made out to be and more.. but i sure also hope you learn that the people here use this forum as a knowledge base of information that is typically useful...

We have many members as well as competing vendors alike that will stop at nothing to try and do all they can to belittle their competitors products. Some even send their flagwavers into other vendors threads to try and degrade their company and products on their behalf, while keeping their nose clean.

Scott and the Zeitronix team has worked day and night to bring the EvoX members of this site and abroad another option with end user interface. We have put countless electronic, datalogging equipment, monitoring, dynotime and testing on our own stock 2008 Evo X GSR and the gains represented are based on ACTUAL GAINS on our own car as tested.

Never have we stated that all Evo X's would instantly receive 107whp.

Outside of various octane and altitude differences, we are dealing with various dealer reflash updated vehicles, modified vehicles and so on.

Here are some financial details regarding the cost effectiveness of the ZChip:

43.9whp = $10.00 / whp
48.7whp = $9.00 / whp
54.8whp = $8.00 / whp
62.7whp = $7.00 / whp
73.1whp = $6.00 / whp
87.8whp = $5.00 / whp
107whp = $4.10 / whp

Only here clarifying that our engine has all the stock internals. Only the ignition has been upgraded on the engine with SparkTech's system.

Seriously guys, it would help out everyone, including the business, if you were to create a new thread or link on your website with all of the details, specs, installation instructions, costs, Q and A, etc... Just a suggestion.

I'd rather have the TTP guys working on cars than data mining this thread and consolidating it for you.

Everything is in this thread, if you want it consolidated, do it!

Hell I'm suprized they have time to respond to threads like this as much as they do, and if they have read every single post, then I'd be EXTREMELY supprized.

thats the Job of a PR guy, and what small business can afford that?

I say good F*cking job TTP! dont change a thing!

Scott is working on a number of end user support areas and installation information at this time.

The first batch is sold out at this time (might have a backorder or two actually from the website sales) so we will be spending our time programming and processing the existing orders, contacting the members and shipping the units out for the rest of the week.
