It was a small turnout, but most if not all of the folks listed as attending were there. Being Valentine's Day, Boudreaux's was crowded with around 60 people waiting in line to order and no way to get a group seated together. So....we diverted to the "old reliable" spot in the same area - Kincaids Burgers. Seating as a group was no problem and we had some good conversation with nice folks.
When we adjourned to the parking lot, an Arlington police officer who was patrolling the area, let us know that the owners of the area had instructed the police that they didn't want any car club gatherings in their parking area. He was actually quite nice, and though he didn't agree with it, had to ask us to leave. Jim suggested for the next Saturday get-together, that we may want to consider the car-friendly place right down the street:
Buck & Loon's Cafe
3517 S. Cooper St.
Arlington, TX 76011

Kelly also mentioned sending a letter to Kincaids to see if they wanted to get involved with the property owners to get the policy changed. If not, they should at least be informed that they will be loosing our business and the many other car groups that use this area (of many restaurants) to meet. Other meeting place ideas are welcome!

I will go by Buck n Loons this week to speak to Buck and see if he has any issues with us meeting at his place. We also have River Bottom, where I know that we will be welcome, if all else fails.

there should always be Something going on Saturdays, don't you think?
what's next Saturday?
should we plan a Buck'n Loons meet?
