Will the back glass from a Lancer fit an Evo?

Hi, just wondering if I could get the back glass from a regular lancer if it'd fit on my evo? (Minus the rear wiper. I'm just going to delete the wiper)

Yup, all glass from the Lancer will fit the Evo. The only difference, other than wiper, is the Evo has the thinner front windshield, but the shape is still the same, so they're all interchangable.

Is the evo windshield more prone to rock chips?

Think it pretty much depends on the rock, velocity and size.

PS: Do not stay behind semi's carrying loads of gravel on the freeway.

I can verify it does fit too. Same fitment for the front and back glass.

As far as the windshield. I don't think it's heavier. It has a different mount for the rear view mirror..

But you had to get rid of your wiper, right?

yeah... but how often do u really use it? unless you live in seattle, the only time i really used it was to wipe morning mist off of it... now i just turn on the defrosters... does the same thing. my rear wiper wasnt worth sepending an extra unexpected $550...

I would think that having no rear wiper would look cleaner also.

My windshield chipped very easily from just a small rock kicked up off the road. It really irritated me, because it happened the same day I had my banner installed. I haven't replaced it yet I've been debating whether I should even worry about it until it get's worse.

It does look cleaner without the wiper. I almost WANT my rear window to shatter now.
