Yes, if you are looking for a set of rotors for road racing, these are not it. These are great for anything other than road racing. For track use I have, and would highly recommend, the original Girodisc 2-piece rotors.

The Buddy Club P1QF is almost a mythical beast. I know there are several guys who have them in 17x9 sizing. I have tried for 3 years to get an 18x10 to no avail. . . seems they will only make them in batches of 40. . . and I don't need THAT many!!

Based on a tech bulletin in the August Fastrack, my interpretation is that these rotors are not legal for STU.
Street Touring: Per the STAC, the following is added to 14.6.E, as a new second sentence: “Thickness includes the individual plates of a vented rotor, as well as the overall dimension.” Note: 14.6.E is intended primarily to facilitate popular track-day big brake kits, not as a means of weight reduction. (ref. 09-193)

I knew something like this was coming - but I thought they would put it out for member comment - not just pass a new rule. And that is what this is. Not just a clarification - but a rewriting of the rule. . .

Guess these rotors are only for the big boys in BSP/SM/XP/FP

I will be running these rotors again this weekend @ the Toledo ProSolo. I am also testing out another pad for autocross use for Martin @ Girodisc, as well as the Gruppe-S ACD controller reflash. . . as well as a new front splitter/undertray and side skirt extensions. . .

Man! I don't think that I've ever run 2 events back to back without changing SOMETHING on the car !!!

not to go off-topic here but was just looking at your thread, what are those white wheels do you have on the car in the video, brand, size and where to get them, they look to be extremely light and good for track/circuit racing

They are WedsSport SA-70 in 18x10. They started life as bronze with a blue ring. I had them painted white by Jims Body Shop in Clare, MI. They sprayed the red rings, then taped that off and sprayed the white. . .

Tire Rack used to carry the SA-70, but I think they have stopped carrying them. . . you may check with some of the importing vendors to see if they can still get them from Japan. . .

They do come in 17x8 I believe (stock size). But they don't look as cool - not as much concave/dish look. . .

If the "Ultralite" 2 piece rotors do not meet the rules for STU in the latest Fastrack, does anyone know if the "normal" 2 piece rotors offered by Girodisc will?
