Right now I am...I am going to see what I can squeeze out of it with the last few things I am going to try but most likely a BBK will be going on in the next month or two.

I am going the Spoolinup kit. For $289 I am going to try it out as it looks well made and uses Denso coils.

Nice. i will have some close answers for you on what SD will do only. I have three dyno sets to do lol, to get answers for each of the following. I will be doing just a o2 dump change to my set up and dyno it. then i will be adding SD to mix and dynoing it, then i will be changing to 92 oct from e85 and dynoing it. Im waiting for the BBK xl to get out. I like the buzz so far of this one

Yes I would love to hear some more on the BBK XL. I definately look forward to seeing your results. I would keep the stock turbo if E85 was available too me but seems they aren't so motivated over here for that stuff.

Yea make sure you post some good graphs Turbojunkie

The only positive thing I can think of about not having E85 is my clutch continues to last hehe.

I noticed you're running a TruBoost. Do you have the additional sensor that allows you to run over 29 psi? I see you're at 28-29 on a BBK with pump gas. The sensor would be a must for E85 in that case, wouldn't it?

I thought the Truboost is good to 30psi without the additional sensor, but I checked the website and it says 29psi. At any rate I do not have the additional sensor and so far I've seen 29.5 as the highest readout on the gauge. The gauge prettys much matches the MAP too which is nice.

Anyways the Truboost doesn't even know about psi, only duty cycle. I don't really know what the cut-off would be with the original sensor (*edit, it says max dc is 90%*). My duty cycle is at like 70 right now. Regardless, for my setup, I won't be pushing it over 30 psi unless I do a build. E85 or not.

I can't read the whole thread. Its too long and its sunday.

Anyway I have two questions.

The dynograph shows 13.0 AFR at peak torque. Is that accurate?

Also, the log shows 1 knock count but the timing appears that it is being retarded from the single count of knock. Goes from 2>(then knock sum of 1)>1>0>3>4>5>6. Is the timing curve tuned like this or was this a reaction from the knock?

BOltz- WB was being dumb that day, the AFR was consistent accept with the low flow at peak torque it seems. I had this happen on a few other cars in that time frame. Timing curve is conservative and thats what you are seeing in the log. It keeps the torque flat and at the level I prefer for stock bottom end cars.

BWrx / Blitz- The Tru boost stops reading at 29.4 (2 bar boost) but continues to control till there is no more WGDC left.

Mikey- Havent tried ECU boost on V7 nor have I tried using the factory 3 port to see if it works better. The 3 cars I have done are inconsistent and I have no interest in experimenting with it on customer cars. Whatever I am doing wrong I can't figure out so I prefer to use what I know since ultimately I am to blame for failures. I think the highest straight pump Red we have seen is 445-450 or so?

DB- As Jeremy answered the ratio seems to be more related to airflow than hp. On stock turbo cars I have seen as much through a MAF as I have SD (on E85) but the average seems to be holding at 11-12whp. On the larger turbos its is significantly better since the MAF becomes more of a restriction when you have an inducer that is larger than the MAF. The BBK cars seem to be around 15-18whp on pump, havent tested vs E85 on that turbo. On a 3582 it ends up being around 28-30whp all tolled.

I would like to have the sensor just to know what im spiking too. but the it will control boost past the 29 psi, just doesnt read it.

Aaron,
I've got the v7 ECU based boost control maps for you. I've done a stock 8, stock 9, and FP red now should be close enough to get it figured out.
