So I went and picked this up today....I'm getting the whole car painted so I'll have to wait a bit to get it all installed and painted.

Nice kit , just like Geardownsons, maybe he can give you some tips on the install although i think his words will be along the lines of "watch out for bumps, curbs, tree branches, garbage or any other debris that may of found itself on the road"

What color are you going for I think black is best..??

Yeah, I'm thinking of black. The only other option I was thinking is red, but I'm leaning towards black. I've read through GDS's thread a few times in the past. My car's alredy lowered, so This is gonna be pretty close to the ground. Can't wait to get it on and painted

IMO, white is the best color for the RA.

I like white too, but white gets so dirty so quick. So with that said, I like black very much.

Did my seats today in black. Came out nice. They do feel a little rough but I'm gonna shampoo them later and run a fabric softener sheet over them. Used two cans and only did the front seats today.

yeah, they're a little stiff and rough. Hopefully that will go away soon.

yeah me neither lol....but the threads from the evo guys have even been updated two years later saying it's held up strong...people sitting in it in white clothes and everything and it's fine.

and GDS....i saw you had the same bumper....did you fit it yourself? if so, how hard was it to line up and drill the holes and stuff?

I'd be more worried about the off-gassing and VOCs then the paint coming off.

It is likely just a dye with an aerosol propellent. Like dying your shoes then. No worries about bad by-products.

What bumper did you get? (brand)
Is your car lowered?

it's from accolade. it is lowered so i'm expecting the front to be quite close to the ground. I got it second hand (never installed by the original owner) and it's this one...
