265/35 w/ H&R lowering spring??
Probably.. I've seen guys that had to roll fenders on swifts with 265s and h&r's are lower than those. You would have to go with 255's and maybe a little bit of camper would be my guess. My H&R's are quite low but I love them
[quote=raytrix;9385938]as long as you have -1.5 degree camber in the rear you should be fine.[/quote
with that camber, are they gonna wear out my tire faster??
whats the ideal alignment spec. for this set-up?? thanks..

not really, factory front camber on the car is set at -1 degree already. putting the rear close to that or slightly above will be the same as the front. Anything in the -3 and up territory will start seeing some uneven wear by a lot. When I had 18x10 +18 on 265/35 I had to roll the rear and run -2.8 camber all around
. Now my 19x10.5 +25 with 5mm spacer front I am doing -2.5 front -2 rear. Mind you it's suggested that you roll the fender if you ever do run something close or lower than 18x9.5 +22 . 18x9.5 +22 on a 265/35 is borderline of a fender roll all based on if you have a car with 4 people in it and lowered more than 1.5 inches. 2 people in the car at that height you are fine without a roll. I would just roll it for the hell of it, it's only around $150 for a pair to be done in most body shop with a roller.

Here's my take on it:
I have 18x9.5 +15 wrapped in 265/35 Dunlop Star Specs. Lowered on Swift Sports, they rubbed like a sum'bish in the rear and were perfectly fine up front.
They WILL hit the heights required for rub in the rears, it's just a question on whether or not the rubber is tucked inside the fender. I might have just barely rubbed on +22, but the Star Specs are a wider tire than most others, so unless you're on Star Specs, your 265's have a more narrow contact patch.
Alignment of -1.2 camber rear did not help, but -2 or -2.5 probably would have. Not willing to go that far for the sake of not rubbing, so I had the rears rolled. Have not had a problem since then with the same alignment specs.
So your success is a combination of narrow 265's and that extra 7mm of offset tucked in versus +15's I ran.

Notice on the last pic the tire actually grabbed the fender and pulled it down! This was after a road trip from Chicago to Michigan to run laps at Gingerman Raceway.

Maybe this comment belongs in Site Feedback, but anyone who posts in a "will these tires rub?" thread without specifying offset should probably have their posts deleted....
This is not a good thread in which to be looking for really useful information. Check for a thread where offset is consistently provided by posters.
edit: apologies to the two posters above who did provide offset; this little rant was aimed at the other people
