HTA Green DBB testing at English Racing
Yes there is more power in the car we were just out of fuel on the 950s. I think 550whp would be easy.
My goal for this car now is the nicest driving so that is why it has s1. With the 2.4 its just as smooth if no smoother then stock. I only run a ACT HDSS to keep it smooth also.
Well as you can see its not the smoothest road and I was not trying to be to crazy. Evos do like slow in fast out though.

One thing I forgot to mention is that in Road race applications when you have high G cornering and get oil pump cavitation or uncover the pickup the first thing to fail is the turbo as it is always at full rpm and then no oil. The DBB will solve this issue though at the same time the bottom end is still subject to oiling issues of course.

Last night, Luke decided it was time for a 91 octane tune as he is heading to San Fransisco on vacation. For us WA/OR guys that get 92 the only way we can make is to fill with 89 and add a gallon or two of 92. I have actually dyno'd cars on 89 that knocked on Cali 91 (straight) so we'll have to see how accurate that is. Here is a comparison of the stock turbo to the new HTA Green BB turbo on pumpgas-

I'm asking this more for clarification than anything else - because it seems like the stock turbo is very close all the way just before 6k rpms, and that's with stock turbo running ~2 psi less than the Green.. or was this also with the injectors maxed out?
Any thoughts on why both the DBB HTA Green and the stock turbo don't spool quicker on the 2.4L? The reason I ask is that back when I was getting tuned on a Dynojet my car hit 400ft# @ 3700rpm on a 2.0L and original non-HTA Green, whereas yours seems to hit that level at around 3900-4000rpm with 20% more displacement and what is supposed to be a quicker spooling turbo. Are there other parts in your setup that kills initial spool?
